Guide for Renters

Our guide for property tenants in Singapore is intended to people renting a whole flat, but it might still be helpful to you.

Paperwork

Renting a room is usually less formal than renting a whole unit. However, we strongly encourage you to request for a sub-letting agreement or a similar document. This document should at least include the name of the lessor, the address of the premises, the agreed monthly rental price, the agreed deposit (if any), the start date, and the procedure to break the agreement.
